We do collect the data shown in the contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We do not enable visitors to leave comments on news articles in our website.

The ESC undertakes to protect the privacy of our subscribers to our community and will not provide personal information to any third parties.

Personal information of subscribers is held internally on a secure Australian server system. All email information is store in separate databases on different servers.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment via the contact form, the comment and its metadata are reviewed, actioned in a timely manner and then removed. No comments are kept indefinitely. Our website in regularly maintained.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
